| How many divorced people and parentless children
attend your church? What can your congregation do to help them better
understand and cope with their situation? Show them Between
Planes and Parents and use the excellent resource that comes
with it.

Here's the story of three unaccompanied youngsters who get stranded
in an airport while traveling between a mom on the East Coast and
a dad in California. They wrestle with such questions as, "If
our parents stopped loving each other, will they stop loving us?"
They encounter another teen who suggests a Christian answer to their
problem — one they apparently reject. |
Don't look for a wrapping up of loose ends or
a happily-ever-after scenario. That's the real strength of the presentation,
for it forces viewers to come to grips with the issues.
To aid in this, the video comes with a discussion guide geared
both to youth and adult groups.
Between Planes and Parents reflects excellent writing,
acting, and production. When you first see and use it, you'll agree
with its producers that, "This 35-minute drama does not offer
easy answers, but opens the way for dialogue about understanding,
compassion, and the ways God helps the helpless and heals the hurting."
